The importance of BodyGlide



Two weeks ago (yes, it takes me that long these days to update my site!) I finished my first EIGHT mile run! We met at 7am, at Seal Point Park in San Mateo...Here I am with my mentor (and friend) Maria before we took off. It took me close to 2 hours to run the 8 miles, but I did it! I didn't even walk!!! At the end of the run, I found out the importance of 'body glide'...I won't say any more about the subject, for fear of sharing too much information, but basically I ran so far and so long, that my body started chafing, from skin rubbing on skin...so, I went out and bought the slimy stuff, that I'll rub all over my body tomorrow before I take on my first double digit run in Half Moon Bay.
